Ouzoud Waterfalls
11 Year
The Ouzoud Waterfalls, located 150 km from Marrakech in the province of Azilal, are Morocco’s highest waterfalls, standing at 110 meters. The name “Ouzoud” means “the act of grinding grain” in Berber, reflecting the region’s agricultural history. Surrounded by lush green valleys, orchards, and dramatic gorges, the falls are a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. You can walk along shaded paths lined with olive trees to reach the base, where you can take a boat ride close to the falls. The area is home to friendly wild Barbary monkeys, which you may encounter during your trek. After enjoying a lunch by the river, you’ll have the opportunity to explore this natural wonder before heading back to Marrakech.
